 AcuScen Treatment

AcuScen Picture small ACUSCEN (Adaptive Compact Universal Self-Correcting Electro Neuro-Stimulator) incorporates the latest knowledge in the remarkable breakthrough technology behind the S.C.E.N.A.R devices developed in Russia. Some liken it to subtle energy therapy.
What is an AcuScen treatment like?
The AcuScen is a gentle, noninvasive healing modality. An electrode on the end of the small hand-held device is placed directly on your skin, and you feel a subtle tingling sensation as the electro pulses penetrate your skin. The device is slowly moved over the injured, infected, swollen, or otherwise compromised area, and as it moves it detects anomalies in the signals at your skin’s surface, which indicate the best place for treatment to be administered for that particular injury. If the injury or illness is not specific to an area of your body, the AcuScen can deliver a whole-body healing, working through spinal reflexes or the meridians (energy channels first identified in Traditional Chinese Medicine). As your nerves release various chemical compounds, the healing effect permeates your body, via blood circulation.

What conditions can AcuScen help with?
Research shows that the AcuScen may have benefits for injuries and illness involving pain and inflammation. However, the Russian research has shown efficacy for a broad range of conditions including digestive, cardiovascular, respiratory, urinary, musculoskeletal, reproductive and nervous system disorders. According to Russian researchers, this biotechnology has been found to be beneficial specifically in the management of burns, fractures, insect bites, allergic reactions, and ear, skin and dental problems. More generally, they report benefits for disorders involving the immune and endocrine systems, nutritional and metabolic disorders, stress and depression. No matter what specific condition is being treated, most people also experience other, whole-body benefits that include increased energy, more refreshing sleep and an improved sense of well-being.
How often will you need treatment?
For a recent injury or acute inflammation, treatments need to be intensive, ideally once or even twice daily. For chronic conditions, treatments are recommended two to four times a week initially, and then in reduced frequency as your condition improves. The course of treatment will vary from person to person, since many aspects of a person’s life (such as age, health condition, lifestyle, etc.) must be considered.

The Acuscen is completely safe and noninvasive. Pregnant women, children and even animals enjoy and benefit from it. Only people with cardiac pacemakers or other electrical devices or someone intoxicated with drugs or alcohol are not able to have an Acuscen treatment.

For best results, it is advisable not to bathe or shower for two hours before or after your AcuScen treatment.
