| | | | COMPUTER SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS | | | | The NES® ProVision software is designed to work on Microsoft Windows XP (Home or Professional) or Windows 7 with a minimum of Service Pack 2 installed or MS Vista. NES ProVision cannot support computers running Windows 95, 98, ME, NT, or 2000 editions or other operating systems, including MAC’s. If you have a MAC, you will need to install Fusion or Parallel and run the windows platform. All requirements below still apply. | | | | | | | | Please note the following minimum computer configuration requirments to support the NES ProVision. Check with your vendor to verify all the following requirements before purchasing a computer. | | | | - Intel based system. AMD based computers have demonstrated problems with ProVision and are not recommended.
- PC or laptop running Microsoft Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7
- Windows 7 runs on a 64bit platform. ProVision will require a 64bit compatible NES Scanner device for this platform. New ProVision systems will come with the required hardware to run on Windows 7.
- 1+ Gb Ram (minimum) 2 Gb Ram recommended. Most new computers now come with 2 to 4 Gb of Ram.
- 1 GHz + processor. All new computers now come with dual, triple, or quad processors.
- 10 Gb+ hard drive space. All new computers come with 250Gb drives or bigger.
- DVD Rom (minimum). DVD RW/CD recommended. All new laptops are CDRW/DVD Rom or better. Blue-ray drives are o.k. if they also read DVDs and CDs.
- One free USB port in addition to any plug-in USB wired or wireless mouse.
- Minimum screen size 1024x768. Netbooks are not compatible. They have a smaller screen size (usually 800x600) and no DVD/CD drive.
