	Diamond and Carnelian Attributes

	Physical: Carnelian has been used to heal open sores, rejuvenate tissues and cells, rheumatism, kidney stones and other kidney problems, gall stones, colds, pollen allergies and neuralgia. Diamond is known as the ‘king’ of gem stones and, being clear, contains all the rays of light. As such, it can treat a wide variety of ailments, though its main use is for the balancing and enhancement of the body’s metabolism. It clears ‘fog’ from one’s mind and counteracts the effects of poisons in the body. Diamonds, when mixed with another gemstone, increase the energy of that gemstone. Amethyst (G1005)

This gemstone forms as a beautiful, transparent pointed crystal in rich light to deep purple hues. Amethyst is recognized as a master healer, transmutational, transformational, meditative, opening and calming to the mind, drawing out dark negative emotions especially fear and eases pain on all levels. It can help the client to understand themselves and the notion of ‘cause and effect’ and personal responsibility. Amethyst can be used in many instances where emotions are the ‘driving force’ behind illness and pain. This gemstone delivers a deeply relaxing and spiritual experience. It can be very effective for deep-seated pain.

Moonstone (G1006)

Not surprisingly, this gemstone is deeply connected to the moon (as in cycles) and is milky white to deep peach and opalescent to look at. Moonstone is a highly ‘feminine’ gemstone and works well with females of all ages from puberty through to pre- and post-menopause. It is, however, also a good gemstone for balancing emotional and physical higher sensitivities in both male and female clients. It achieves this by re-connecting clients with their innate intuition and working with the concept of new beginnings and true ‘rebirth’.

Rose Quartz (G1007)

This is a gentle translucent to transparent pink stone. Ultimately Rose Quartz is the gemstone of unconditional love. The true energy given by Rose Quartz is within all forms of healing and is as the heartbeat of the universe. It is wonderful for all forms of emotional wounds, no matter how deep, or wherever they have lodged in the body or the mind. Tenderly balancing the heart chakra, it can allow the client to connect and understand true self worth. Citrine (G1008)

This is a stunning, uplifting form of quartz in a variety of yellows from clear daffodil to golden. It is one of the few gemstones which never requires clearing or cleansing, as it dissipates and dispels any negative energy whether it is from mind, body or spirit. A happy stone of abundance and ultimate balance. Citrine works well with the digestive tract and in particular the Pancreas. It can also be used to stimulate the crown chakra, motivating and energizing the client to manifest their goals in life.

Aura (G1012)

Aura contains the following gemstones:

Clear crystal quartz: Widely used for centuries, particularly in the form of clear quartz wands, to direct and amplify healing and love. Used here to cleanse and heal ‘tears’ in the auric field.
Smokey quartz: As the name implies this gemstone has a golden to brown ‘smokey’ haze within its structure. This gemstone grounds and stabilizes the client – highly important when working with ‘higher’ subtle energies. Used here to break the circuit of physical and negative mental habit affecting the auric field. This issue, if left unaddressed, aggravates the physical and mental state of the client. Helps to disperse all negativity, fatigue, frustration and anger.
Tourmalinated quartz: Appears either clear or with a color shift to striking green. This gemstone is said to go directly to the root cause of an imbalance or illness within the aura, then re-addresses and strengthens the energy field. A deeply protective, dynamic yet balancing gemstone.

Coral (sourced from vintage jewelry): Prized in the Ayurvedic gemstone world for centuries and included today in our Beauty gem cup. Peridot: A pure green gemstone also known as olivine. Warming, comforting and an excellent healer to the digestive tract, especially the stomach, duodenum and spleen.
Amethyst: Beautiful purple gemstone and a master healer. Used here as a soothing, strengthening tonic for the stomach and duodenum especially. Helps heal ulcers and relax tension.
Carnelian: Bright orange gemstone. Deeply energizing, treating the gall bladder, pancreas and spleen. Helps dispel the heavy sluggish sensations that are associated with indigestion.
Iron Pyrite: Penetrating and strengthening the entire digestive tract. Helps where insomnia is present due to digestive upset.

Cats Eye (G1017)

Chrysoberyl cats eye is a very rare and expensive gemstone which is found in small quantities in Sri-Lanka and Brazil. The cats eye is present because the stone has chatoyancy in its make up and this effect cause the ‘eye’ which moves as the gem is gently turned. In Ayurvedic gemstone treatments cats eye is the only stone that is used for treating cancer. It is for this reason we have included a cats eye gem cup into our range. Our cats eye gem cups 1.5-2 carats of ruby, topaz and coral. According to Ayurvedic terms, cats eye is the hottest of all stones giving out infrared rays. As such it is used in Ayurvedic treatments for chronic cases and terminating cases. Ayurvedic books mention that cancer cases respond wonderfully to the vibration of cats eye. It is possible, as cancer cells cannot survive temperatures in excess of 42° Celsius (107.6° Fahrenheit), that this could be the reason that tumors respond to this treatment. Infrared is also known to travel deeper into the body than other wavelengths of light and it does not burn healthy tissue.

Paralysis is also said to respond to the use of cats eye.
